Advised customer's Notes team in their rollout of Lotus Notes to the campuswide community, including system architecture planning, application development, and distance learning. Implemented policies concerning account integrity and security, user access to test and development servers, and monitoring email usage. Also presented the advantages of Lotus Notes to various levels of their organization, including their Office of the President and the Executive Staff.
Architect of a tourism application using Lotus Notes 4.6 to extract messages from DB2 and place the messages into Notes databases. Challenges included complex workflow and messaging routing, replication from the AS/400, synchronization between the US databases and their Japanese counterparts, and internationalization. Also assisted the customer with configuring their Notes network and planning their corporate-wide Lotus Notes deployment.
Developer on a web-based tractor loan application using Lotus Domino 4.6. Store managers were able to enter all of the customer information and submit the loan for approval. Responsible for form design and validation of loan information based on complex financial parameters.
Team lead for a financial application using Lotus Notes 4.5 to track and analyze maintenance and service bids by IBM Marketing.
Developed a web site using Perl and Javascript for a customer that would allow their customers to download evaluation software from the web. User information would be written to an Oracle database to allow the marketing to place follow-up calls.
