Phokion G. Kolaitis is a Professor of Computer Science at the
University of California, Santa Cruz and a Research Staff Member at
the IBM Almaden Research Center. His research interests include
principles of database systems and logic in computer science.
Kolaitis has held a Guggenheim Fellowship, and is a Fellow of the
Association for Computing Machinery and a Foreign Member of the
Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. He is also a co-winner of the
2008 ACM PODS Alberto O. Mendelzon Test-of-Time Award.
