Pankaj Gupta currently leads the "Personalization and Recommender
Systems" team at Twitter. Most recently he led the design and
implementation of the recommender system that suggests users to
follow on Twitter. Pankaj was the recipient of the Arthur Samuel
award for the best Ph.D. dissertation in the Department of Computer
Science at Stanford University in 2000-2001.
