Cloudscape Database and Synchronization Deployment Architectures

Abstract
Database deployment methods are heavily influenced by Java. Cloudscape, a
pure Java DBMS, takes advantage of this in three common scenarios:
1) embedded deployment
2) server deployment
3) synchronization deployment for occasionally-connected use
This talk shows how Cloudscape is used and how its synchronization
capabilities take advantage of the Java architecture.
Biography
Ames Carlson has 15 years industry experience from Digital, Hewlett-Packard,
Sybase, and is currently Director of Development at Cloudscape. She has an MSCS in Database Systems from Stanford University.
