Distributing copyrighted material for no financial gain criminal if:
- Total retail value > $1000 over 180 days is federal misdemeanor
- Up to 1 year in prison and fine up to $100,000
- Total retail value > $2500 over 180 days federal felony
- Up to 3 years in prison and fine up to $250,000
- Doubled for second offense
