Minutes from the meeting of 6/18

Attending: Chaw,Serge,Jason,Yue,Michael

Serge presented a set of examples of a view maintenance algorithm,
using LOREL syntax (plus DOEM). He will complete the algorithm in
a writeup. Next time we can further discuss it and them get into
optimizations. A few (mainly optimization) problems are:

* How to detect whether an update (give update statement) may affect 
a view at compile time (without checking the contents of the database).

* Where do some of the proposed data structures, such as interesting paths
or Data Guide fit into the picture?
