Subject: topics for next week
Status: O

Serge and I decided to meet today in spite of the cancelled meeting. :-) We
think that we can probably write a conference paper on views if we include:

	view specification language
		as described in workshop paper
implementation details of what we needed to add to handle views
assumes views are implemented in Lore
data structures to back up view maintenance
		at client?
we would need to decide upon these data structures
(possibly design them) and implement them

I'm particularly interested in choosing/designing such data structures and
would be willing to coordinate that. We thought that we could probably aim
for a fall conference deadline.

Perhaps if Michael talks for half an hour next week, we can use the other
half hour to see if this idea would be of interest to anyone.

Janet
