BIB-VERSION:: CS-TR-v2.0 ID:: STAN//CS-TR-69-129 ENTRY:: November 27, 1995 ORGANIZATION:: Stanford University, Department of Computer Science TITLE:: Research in the Computer Science Department, Stanford University TYPE:: Technical Report AUTHOR:: Miller, William F. DATE:: April 1969 PAGES:: 87 ABSTRACT:: The research program of the Computer Science Department can perhaps be best summarized in terms of its research projects. The chart on the following page lists the projects and the participation by faculty and students. Two observations should be made to complete the picture. Within the Artificial Intelligence Project, the Stanford Computation Center, the SLAC Computation Group, and the INFO project, there are a large number of highly competent professional computer scientists who add greatly to the total capability of the campus. Also, there are a number of projects in other schools or departments which are making significant contributions to computer science. These, too, add to the total computer environment. Summarized by Professor W. F. Miller. NOTES:: [Adminitrivia V1/Prg/19951127] END:: STAN//CS-TR-69-129
