BIB-VERSION:: CS-TR-v2.0 ID:: STAN//CS-TR-75-536 ENTRY:: August 23, 1995 ORGANIZATION:: Stanford University, Department of Computer Science TITLE:: Interactive generation of object models with a manipulator. TYPE:: Technical Report AUTHOR:: Grossman, David D. AUTHOR:: Taylor, Russell H. DATE:: December 1975 PAGES:: 34 ABSTRACT:: Manipulator programs in a high level language consist of manipulation procedures and object model declaratlons. As higher level languages are developed, the procedures wlll shrink while the declarations will grow. This trend makes it desirable to develop means for automating the generation of these declarations. A system is proposed which would permit users to specify certain object models interactively, using the manipulator itself as a measuring tool in three dimensions. A preliminary version of the system has been tested. NOTES:: [Adminitrivia V1/Prg/19950823] END:: STAN//CS-TR-75-536
