Description

This lot contains 17 used stamps from the 1902 to 1911 series. They begin with Scott 127 and include 128,129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135(2 shades), 136, 138 (2 shades), 143, 145 and 150. These stamps have a total catalog value of $158.30. The 17th stamp is Scott 139, the 2 shilling 6 pence value. Unfortunately, it is a very poor copy, so I'm including it without counting its CV. The remainder of the stamps are in good condition, although the 9 pence value has a pulled perf in the upper right corner. There are some interesting stamps in this lot, too, if you are interested in cancellations. The 4 pence, Scott 133, has a clear Dec 2, 1905, date stamp. The orange 4 pence value, Scott 150, has a very nice "socked-on-the-nose" cancellation for Mar 4, 1912, from George Street, Edinburough. The 7 pence value also has a "socked-on-the-nose" cancel.
