Synopsis

I gave the movie (a TV movie from the U.K.) 3 stars. Starting it we realized we had already seen in on PBS. However after watching several minutes I couldn't believe what I was seening. If you like John Thaw as Inspector Morse, you'll want to see this movie. It dates from the late 1980's, when Morse was acerbic, biting, even nasty, especially with the hapless Sergeant Lewis, before his character mellowed to some extent. It's too bad one star is the lowest rating. Dry and boring. And to top it off, it isn't a new movie starring Elizabeth Hurley. It is a ten year-old film with just a few moments of a very young, almost unrecognizable Elizabeth Hurley. A great letdown. Don't waste your time!
