Now in his 60's, Michael is dominated by two passions: freeing his family from crime and finding a suitable successor. The Godfather, Part II: Disc 1
Perhaps a unique case of a sequel superseding the original, The Godfather II follows the Corleone crime family as it relocates to Nevada in the 1950s, with Michael (Al Pacino) as the new Don. The original cast returns with Robert Duvall outstanding as consigliere Tom Hagen and John Cazale as the tragic Fredo Corleone. Oscars include Best Picture, Director (Francis Ford Coppola) and Actor (Robert De Niro).

Netflix Review
The Godfather: Part III is the final, flawed entry in the saga depicting the rise and fall of the Corleone criminal empire. Gangster patriarch Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) constantly reminds us that his calculated, ruthless acts are "business -- not personal." But both Michael and his creator ... Complete Review

I have tried to look at this 3rd installment of the Godfather series as its own separate entity. I tried not to compare it to the first 2 great films. On its own, it is a good movie. In comparison to the first 2 Godfather movies, "Godfather 3" is not a very good movie. This movie has many of ... Complete Review

I've wanted to see this movie for quite some time, but I kept putting it off cause of all the bad reviews it got. When I finally saw it I was pleasantly surprised and failed to see why so many people hated it. Of course it doesn't compare to the first two, but I think this film had impossible ... Complete Review

The Godfather part III has been much maligned, and in comparison with the first 2/3rds of the saga, it is indeed quite a let down. The film has many flaws, most of which have been pointed out already-Sophia's performance, the absence of Robert Duvall, a somewhat weak story-but the film still does ... Complete Review

A thought the movie lacked a hook/something to jump out and grab your attention. It just seemed to drag on...... l & ll were great. I feel they took Godfather one sequel to far.

Just like you wouldn't want any good book to end, Godfather part III ended - and I didn't want it to - I don't care about the politics or arm wrestling of a studio to produce a third movie for profit - I loved the entire trilogy! The first movie was made in 72 - 1 year before I was even born, and ... Complete Review

The first was just great and got me into the movies. The second seems to needed to be watched a couple of times. I didn't understand really much of it. The second really had some scenes that were important but very hard to follow. The third was I think ALMOST as good as the first. the ending was ... Complete Review
