Synopsis
A hero is measured by the enemies he makes.
Tom Selleck returns to the Western frontier in Crossfire Trail, a film adaptation of Louis L'Amour's classic tale about a restless wanderer bound by a promise to a dying friend.
Rafe Covington (Tom Selleck) values one thing above all--his word. Just before his good friend dies, Rafe makes a vow to look after his widow, Ann (Virginia Madsen), and promises to protect her Wyoming ranch. This strong code of honor leads Rafe and his two traveling companions, Rock and J.T. (David O'Hara and Christian Kane), to her small town, which is being terrorized by a conniving land owner, Bruce Barkow (Mark Harmon), and his hired gun, Bo Dorn (Brad Johnson). Rafe takes on Barkow, but Ann remains unsure of his motives. Ultimately, she must let her heart decide who to trust.
