Kiss of the Dragon
(2001)
Synopsis
Martial arts master Jet Li shows off his karate (and acting) chops in this dark, brooding film helmed by French director Luc Besson. Li plays Liu Jian, a narcotics cop sent to Paris to help crack a French-Chinese smuggling ring. When the mission goes horribly wrong, Liu becomes embroiled in a vast conspiracy and must race to prove his innocence and ensure his survival. Bridget Fonda co-stars.

I am a huge Jet Li fan, I love his action style and talents. I think he's amazing and I havent even seen Once Upon a Time in China, which is supposed to be his best martial arts movie. My husband dragged me to Kiss of the Dragon and I was entertained. Yes, acting abilities are lacking but the fight scenes are amazing. Overall an entertaining movie if there's nothing else to go see.

If you have surround sound speakers you will really enjoy the soundtrack played in this movie. I know it had me pretty amped especially throughout the fighting scenes. The plot is cliche but it was entertaining. I enjoyed the bad guy chararcter (the french dude) but i rather watch jet li ... Complete Review

At last, Jet in a movie sans wires and speaking ENGLISH!!! I've seen just about all of his work, and this is one of the best.
