Rush Hour 2
(2001)
Synopsis
Opposites attract once again in this sequel to the box office blockbuster Rush Hour. Martial arts star Jackie Chan is a fine foil for the disdainful dish meted out by comedian Chris Tucker. Together, they reprise their roles as buddy cops on vacation in Hong Kong. But their R&R is cut short when an explosion kills two custom agents and Chan and Tucker are put on the case.

Half a Loaf of Kung Fu
Jackie Chan turns kung fu inside out with this martial-arts action comedy. Chan plays Jiang, an amiable but bungling ne'er-do-well who cons his way into a servant's job at a mansion. Then he mistakenly masquerades as the "Whip Hero," a renowned outlaw whose defense of choice is to plaster his opponents with eggs! This goofy parody made Chan a star.

Usually sequels to hit movies end up being a flop. Rush Hour 2, however, went against this tendency, being much more hilarious and full of more action. Anyone who enjoyed the first movie or enjoys comedies must see this. It is by far Chris Tucker's best work.

I loved Rush Hour 1 and this is every bit just as good! This team should make lots and lots of movies together. They can't lose. I haven't met a single person who saw this movie that didn't love it. Keep them coming - PLEASE

This movie was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a very long time. The first centered on Chan but this one was all Tucker. He is hilarious in this movie and Chan makes a great partner to Chris. From the moment the movie started I was laughing. This is what comedy is all about, laughing ... Complete Review

Totally mindless movie just like the original. The jokes and physical humor are stupid but I still got a chuckle out of it.

I don't think this was quite as funny as the first one but it was still pretty good. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker work well together.
