every winter trip. Instead, I go over the list and think if I need to

It's specially hard to keep clean in winter. Water is limited and at
low temperatures people don't feel like washing. Also, you must carry
out your bowel movements (BM) in a BM Kit (see below). Never bury
your BMs in the snow as they will polute the water in the spring!
