About Me
-
I am from Beijing,
a very crowded city in China. The
picture on the right is the Great Wall which was built over 2000 years
ago and has always been considered a symbol of China.
-
Now I'm a PhD student
in the Database Group of Stanford
University.
Education
-
I have been in the
PhD program of Database Group of Stanford University since 1995.
-
From 1991 to 1995,
I studied in Peking University where
I finally got a B.S. degree from the Computer Science Department.
-
From 1990 to 1991
and in Xin Yang Military Academy, I spent a year there to obtain military
training, which I believe was the most interesting experience in my life
up until now. We planted vegetables such as cabbage, onion. Sometimes we
stole vegestables from other teams, but I'm sure they did the same thing
to us. We even raised pigs. Of course, we didn't just do farming.
-
I went to Beijing
No.4 High School. That's a very good high school, very famous in Beijing.
Now I have a lot of alumni in Stanford.
-
Junior high school
and elementary school ...; I know you are getting bored. By the way, I
first met my wife in our nursery. Of course we didn't get married quite
soon.

We were in the same nursery and the same class in elementary school. It's

I feel she's still the little girl who sat next to me in the second grade.
Here are some pictures
of her family, but Janet wasn't there.
