• Two types of steps:

  • limit parameters (auxiliary relations)
    ok_m($m):
    answer(P) :- treatments(P,$m)
    COUNT(answer.P) >= 20
  • reduce base relations
    t_1(P,$m) :- treatments(P,$m)
    AND ok_m($m)
