I wrote a small piece of sci-fi --- "Sun Crystal".
The story is about how great hackers save the earth from a piece of highly
unstable crystal accidentally left in the space by an exploration team. The
deadly crystal is approaching the earth, and if it gets anywhere close to
the atmosphere, its explosion will surely blow up a third of our planet.
Eventually hackers figure out how to use the gravitational field of a nearby
comet to pull the crystal away from the earth, without causing it to
explode... I know I know, there are many loopholes... But hey, I was just
a kid, and I think it's at least as good as the original Star Strek... :)
Years Wayyyyy Back: Elementary School
- 07/1986: Honorable Mention,
Sichuan TV "The World Around Us"
