30_Jan_2003 We need help from Graders for homeworks, midterm and final. Please send us an email if you would like to grade. This would be a paid position with the CS Deptt. Students taking cs154 are eligible to become graders.
30_Jan_2003 The Problem Session today (30 Jan) will be from 3:15 -- 5:00 (half an hour longer than usual). Please bring with yourself problems/doubts you would like to discuss.

28_Jan_2003 Corrected HW 1 (Problems 1, 2 and 3) are available in a file cabinet marked "CS154" on the 4th floor in Gates. People who submitted late will be able to pick their corrected homeworks by late tonight.

23_Jan_2003 The webpage http://www.stanford.edu/class/cs154/grades/xxxxxx/index.html will contain your grades, where xxxxxx is your SUNet ID (Leland login ID). Feel free to test the system and let us know if you face any problem. We have not entered any grades yet.
23_Jan_2003 Serafim's office is Gates Room #138, and not #154 as erroneously mentioned on this webpage earlier.
22_Jan_2003 Please check HW2 FAQ for HW2 changes/hints etc.
12_Jan_2003 Please treat the set of 5 Easy Problems as being equivalent to 1 Moderate Problem. You could submit them together on 1 sheet. There is no need to start an Easy Problem on a new sheet. Also, if you submit all Easy and all Moderate Problems, we will choose the five best ones for your grade.
11_Jan_2003 Please check HW1 FAQ for HW1 changes/hints etc.
9_Jan_2003 We will hold Problem Sessions on Fridays, 3:15pm -- 4:30pm in Room 420-040.
8_Jan_2003 Log on to any Leland machine and run /usr/class/cs154/bin/enroll to add (or remove) your name to (from) the cs154 classlist. The script serves two purposes: (a) it makes us available a list of students taking the class immediately. We need this list to record grades. The official list arrives only after a few weeks into the quarter. (b) the script automatically adds (or removes) you to (from) the class mailing list: cs154-announcements@lists.stanford.edu.
