Mor Naaman

My (tentative) Upcoming Events:
I am currently a research scientist and team lead at Yahoo!. Check out our publicly-available prototypes: ZoneTag, Zurfer and TagMaps. I am also one of the co-inventors of Fire Eagle, currently a Yahoo! Brickhouse project in private beta (email me for an invitation).

I got my PhD from the Computer Science department at Stanford University. I did my PhD research as part of the Stanford InfoLab (formerly known as the Database Group). At Stanford, I was also affiliated with the HCI group. In previous lives, I was a professional basketball player, a software engineer, and a college radio DJ.

Follow the links above to my (somewhat up to date) research and publication list, a demo of my old PhotoCompas system and other work-related links, some of my personal photos (although most of them are on Flickr), and a random list of stuff that I like.
