Communication

1. Emails concerning individual issues should always be sent to the TA. Messages appropriate for the instructor or the administrator will be forwarded accordingly.

2. The mailing list cs346@cs.stanford.edu includes all students and staff and is used primarily for announcements. Messages sent to this address are also posted automatically on the class newsgroup. We will assume that all students are reading email sent to this list regularly, and we will not hesitate to use it for communicating important information.

3. The class newsgroup is su.class.cs346@news.stanford.edu. Students should feel free to post questions to the newsgroup, answer questions posed by others, and engage in class-related discussion. The newsgroup is monitored by the TA. The TA will answer most questions directly to the newsgroup, although answers that are relevant to all students will be sent to the mailing list instead.
