Wilburt & Lena's wedding

T he ceremony will take place at 3PM on September 11, 1999. It will be held at the Stanford Memorial Church (650-723-1762), inside the Stanford Campus. The presiding priest will be Father John Paul Forte. Directions to the church are given below.

T he Memorial Church is very beautiful. Do not miss the reception! Plan to be at Stanford by 2:45PM to allow 15 minutes for parking and walking. .

N o guests are permitted to take pictures in the church during the wedding ceremony. However, picture taking is permitted after the ceremony.

Memorial Church on Stanford Campus

D irections to the Stanford Memorial Church follows. Here is a helpful map that shows where the church is situated with respect to Highway 101, Interstate 280, and El Camino Real. In the map, the Stanford Memorial Church is in the "Main Quadrangle" of Stanford University.

From Highway 101 North and South:
Take the University exit west toward Stanford. Drive along University for about 3 miles. You will pass Middlefield Rd., go underneath an overpass, and pass El Camino Real (Hwy. 82). You will enter the Stanford Campus as University becomes Palm Drive. After going through one traffic light and one stop sign, you can see the Memorial Church directly in front of you on Palm Drive. When you hit the oval, park and walk to the church.
From Highway 280 North and South:
Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the stoplight, Campus Drive West. Continue around Campus Drive West and turn right when you reach Palm Drive. You can see the Memorial Church directly in front of you on Palm Drive. When you hit the oval, park and walk to the church.
From El Camino Real:
Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto). As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. After going through one traffic light and one stop sign, you can see the Memorial Church directly in front of you on Palm Drive. When you hit the oval, park and walk to the church.
