NOS CPU Scheduling

A process may be on any machine in the NOS. Local scheduling is done by the local OS. The NOS will move a process from one machine to another to load balance the network. Of course, the cost of moving the process may be high thus, the expected benefit should also be high.

Once a process is on a particular machine, the local operating system and scheduler takes over.
