Jun Yang

The Way to Do, is to Be.

[Yang2 Jun4] is my Chinese name.

I am an n-th year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. I work with Prof. Jennifer Widom in the database group. I came to Stanford in 1995, but n equals the current year minus 1994. Hmm... Why is life so complicated? (By the way, the only reason why I use a formula for n is that I am too lazy to update this page every year.)

To make life more complicated (especially during the Big-Game), I received my B.A. degree from the Computer Science Division at University of California, Berkeley, the arch-rival of Stanford. While at Berkeley, I worked with Prof. Katherine Yelick on parallel computing.

By the way, my first name is pronounced as "June", the sixth month of the year... Okay, you must have finished calculating n by now. So please, take a look around:
